Spalding & Co (the trading name of Spalding & Co Ltd), is an independent company of Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents, Valuers and Auctioneers with offices in Fakenham, Wells-next-the-Sea and North Walsham

The founder of the business, Hubert Spalding, now retired, established the firm in 1980, and for over 25 years offered professional property services and the sale, letting and purchase of residential, commercial and agricultural property in the market town of Fakenham, the coastal resort of Wells-next-the-Sea, and the villages of North Norfolk.
Nick Glaister, the Managing Director, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and acquired the practice in 2006, having previously worked in Norfolk as a Chartered Surveyor for over 25 years, dealing with the survey and valuation of residential and commercial property, acting as an Expert Witness in property disputes and litigation, Landlord and Tenant matters, Planning and Development Appraisals and Managing Building Works.
Nigel Morgan, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Member of the Academy of Experts, joined the company in 2010 and is based in North Walsham. Since 1978 he has provided survey and valuation expertise to both private and corporate clients, throughout Norfolk. With a Diploma in Arbitration, Nigel has an established reputation in the subjects of condition and value of residential and commercial property, acting as an Expert Witness and Arbitrator, dealing with rent reviews and lease renewals, Dilapidations, Compulsory Purchase and Compensation, Planning and Property Development Issues, together with experience as an Auctioneer.
Nick Bird - the Manager of Sales - has been an estate agent in Fakenham for over 30 years, having always lived in the town. He handles the sale of residential property, building plots and other land, and the sale and letting of commercial premises. His local knowledge and involvement in the community are unlikely to be matched by any other estate agent in the area.
Paula Goldspink - the Manager of Lettings - a person who has worked locally for over 20 years, acts for landlords in finding tenants and managing residential and commercial property.
The remainder of the staff at our offices has over 50 years combined experience with the company, offering personal professional property services.
